Stonewood Oak and Walnut Furniture Care & Maintenance

All Stonewood Oak and Walnut units are handcrafted using solid oak and walnut sourced from Sustainable forests some units in our range are constructed using real wood vaneer to carcass and sides, please contact us for further details of units using this material. All Timber matures over time and you will notice a difference in the strength of the Grain and Colour saturation from item to item.

All our units are Pre-Treated with 3 Coats of Danish Oil. If the surface becomes lifeless or dirty, scour with a Green nylon scouring pad dipped in Danish Oil, wiping away excess with a clean dry cloth. Badly soiled or worn units can be lightly sanded, remove dust then apply Danish Oil, which should be allowed to soak for 30 minutes. Wipe away excess ensuring no puddles of Oil dry on the surface.

As a Natural product, splits and shakes can occur. These can be exaggerated or caused when the Wood has been subject to excessive moisture, spillages that have not been wiped off promptly or if not maintained correctly. Although we endeavour to meet the criteria of our customers we cannot be held responsible if due care and attention is not maintained, your furniture will have reached your customers in sound condition and it is the customer's responsibility to install and maintain correctly.

Stonewood Stone worktops/Bowls-Care & Maintenance

All Stonewood Stone worktops and bowls are Pre-Treated with Lithofin Care products and should be cleaned maintained using these products only. Your customers should follow the Lithofin Instructions on Cleaning and maintaining.We highly recommend their products and can supply them to yourselves or direct to the end user.

If you or your customer damages or chips the Worktop or bowl we can provide an easy to use repair kit which if the instructions are followed correctly can be repaired in less than 1 hour.
